What if I get spam emails?
We don't believe that spam will be an issue, but if you receive undesired communication, please try the following:
1) If it's a registered person (i.e., if their email is something normal looking, like "alex@helpimpoor.com), please forward us the email and we will be in touch with the offending person.
2) If it's someone who is genuinely attempting to purchase something that is no longer available (or is asking for a lower price after being declined, etc.), please firmly state that the book is no longer for sale, not for sale under such-and-such conditions, etc.
3) If you receive outright spam (emails about diet pills, etc.), let us know, and you may also try changing your username (and thus your HIP email). Since your personal email is never listed on the site, changing your HIP email should instantly prevent any spam from taking place to your personal account. In case you're curious, we do immediately delete the previous email forwarding when you change usernames.
