What are Groups?

Please note the Groups feature is under development at the moment and should be completed within the month of June (2016, of course). If you have feedback based on the plan below, we would love to hear it!

Groups are a feature for friends who wish to follow each other as, well, a group. This means that you can automatically see any new postings from the group without having to manually subscribe to each seller (which is especially nice if individual sellers are added or removed on an on-going basis.

To start a group, look for the link near the top of "My Books" (under your seller URL and location). You can give the group a name and receive a URL accordingly. It will also be your responsibility to add people to the group (though we're hoping to add the ability to appoint multiple administrators soon to help even this out).

Anyone with the link can see the books in the group (and contact the sellers), but only those added by the administrator will actually have their listings shown on the group. If you prefer to not have anyone outside of your group see the listings, please be careful with how you give out the URL. We are, however, hoping to add a "secret" group setting soon, which would enable groups to be invisible to anyone who has not been directly added by the administrator.
